ZEBRA SMOOTH SERIES

Quality, durability, and reliability have established ZEBRA Mats as the international standard for martial arts and fitness facilities worldwide.

ZEBRA Smooth Series mats are available in 40 mm and 50 mm thicknesses, engineered for disciplines involving high falls, throws, slams, and intensive grappling. They provide strong impact protection while remaining firm enough for stand-up martial arts. In many cases, additional subflooring is minimal or not required.

The smooth surface offers secure footing for kicking techniques and controlled movement during throws, while helping reduce the risk of mat burns during grappling exchanges.

Compared to tatami-surfaced versions, Smooth mats are slightly less dense and provide a softer feel under impact.

At the core of every mat is a 100% recycled, multi-density, open-cell foam, bonded through a proprietary adhesive process that supports a 15-year product life expectancy. The open-cell structure ensures full climate stability — mats will not expand or contract due to temperature changes. They also help reduce noise and provide thermal insulation.

The exterior features reinforced, closed-cell vinyl certified phthalate-free and treated with an antimicrobial finish to help inhibit the growth of microorganisms. Hand-finished corners ensure moisture-resistant seams, and a natural rubber anti-skid base enhances stability on the floor.

Installation requires no special tools, chemicals, or adhesives, making the system suitable for both professional and DIY installation.
